Secretary's Message

He is the Laurel Wreath of our Vellalar group of institutions. As a renowned son of good promoter and humanitarian, Thiru. S. Duraisamy Gounder, he has been closely associated with the growth and evolution of the college. With the guidance from our College President and assistance from the College Council, he propelled the college to reach the skies and received several prestigious awards and recognitions. He has his own distinctive vision on shaping the future development of the institution.


Nursing is not just a degree but an opportunity to serve mankind. An approach or process of making a person physically fit is what makes a Nursing different from other medical professionals.


In the year 2008 Vellalar College of Nursing came in to function with good facilities, a dedicated team of nursing faculties & created an atmosphere for students to learn & get acquainted with the specialized concept of Nursing & earn a degree of Bachelor of Nursing


Biggest testimony to Vellalar College of Nursing is the appreciation of students from Hospital & Rehabilitation Centers all over the country.
